Bethesda , MD -March 9, 2009- It may be difficult to break down how President Barack Obama's Economic Stimulus Plan affects the average American, but help is on the
way. Carroll Publishing has expanded its renowned government information website to include
coverage of the massive stimulus package, giving users up-to-date content in a user-friendly
database, the company announced today.
In addition to providing subscribers with government contact information at all levels of government
(Federal, State, Municipal and County) and the Defense Industry, Carroll Publishing has updated
its subscription database to include in-depth coverage of the new agencies and offices that are
being created as a result of the Economic Stimulus initiatives. Subscribers can read daily news
articles in the "Economic Stimulus News" section and stay current as the plans are implemented.
Here you'll find all of the latest information ARRA, EESA, HERA and future major legislative acts
as they're passed as well. Hyperlinks are also provided that direct subscribers to the official
government websites that are administering new legislation, as well as PDF documents of the
legislative acts themselves.
In addition to the new icons, the entire Plum book, or the United States Government Policy and
Supporting Positions, has also been made available in its entirety. Conveniently accessible in
one location, the book is available as a collection available by Department or Independent Agency.
The database is continuously updated as agencies and programs are created and new positions are filled,
giving subscribers access to the most current and accurate government information website on the
Internet.
"This will be a new, one-stop shop for you to stay current on the Economic Stimulus projects and all of the
opportunities that go along with them," says Kathy Updegraff, Marketing Director for Carroll Publishing. "You are in control of all of the information you want to see and all of the details."
Coming in the days and weeks ahead, Carroll Publishing will also be adding estimated budget numbers, state certifications, new hyperlinks to state recovery and department recovery websites and highlights of the dollars appropriated for each area of the plan.
Regardless of how in-depth that information may get, it will still be easy to understand. That will continue with Carroll Publishing's coverage of the Economic Stimulus initiatives as users will be able to track new positions, task forces, and jobs that are created as well as the people who fill them.
"There isn't anyone out there that does what we do on such a comprehensive level," says Updegraff. "Not with our amount of detail. You'll always have the most accurate Economic Stimulus information as things happen."
Recent additions to the Economic Stimulus section include the White House Task Force on Middle Class Working Families and the President's Economic Recovery Advisory and Board to the Treasury Department to name a few.
As has been the case at Carroll Publishing for decades, these new additions include detailed contact information, new personnel and their positions. These additions are also outlined in Carroll Publishing's dynamic organization charts which illustrate the new governmental structures and where they fit within the hierarchy of the department in which they are located and in the government as a whole.
